I'm planning on getting a 6 core intel and some 780ti's 😀
But not yet, because I want to wait to see how will the new generation Maxwell GPU's will do , which I'm sure they will bring awesome results, but if they're too pricey then I'll go with the 700's gen.
And am curious about the Broadwell family of Intel processors when they'll come out too so no upgrade until next year if I plan to go with the new families with both CPU and GPU. SO I'll have time to save more money. 😜

If you want to upgrade no matter what I recommend upgrading the GPU and monitor. Get a 1080p monitor.
Power supply seems to have a small voltage, but it's a quality one from a trusted manufacturer, so trust me that it's enough to power a GTX 760. 😀
For an AMD card upgrade you'll need a more powerful PSU yes, but that's because AMD cards consume a lot and tend to heat up very much. But I'll let you to decide. 😀

I'm planning on upgrading myself too, but for now, for my work mine is good enough.
